The Police have been chosen as one of eighty teams taking part in the newly formed Lucozade Sport Performance League. www.lucozade.com/football
The live draw took place on talkSPORT radio on the Football First show between 2-4pm on Sunday 17 August and WMPFC were amongst one of the eighty team names drawn out of the hat.
As part of their club-style sponsorship package, WMPFC will receive a brand new strip, Lucozade Sport products for the season and ongoing support and advice.
The full list of prizes won by AFC is:
* A new Lucozade Sport football strip.
* Regular deliveries of Lucozade Sport products.
* Access to a panel of performance experts who among them have years of experience producing Premier League match winning performances from the countries best teams and players.
* A training ground visit from a Lucozade Sport Scientist who will test the physical attributes of the team against Premier League standards and provide performance advice and tips.
* A chance to win an exclusive pre-season trip to one of Europe's most prestigious training camps should AFC be crowned champions of the LSPL at the end of the season.
If the Police win the virtual league then they will play a game at Arsenal's Emirates stadium plus visit and train next summer at one of Europe's presitage training camps.
Further more the Police were picked as August's team of the month and took part in a strength and conditioning session at Aston Villa's Bodymoor Heath training ground. This was carried out by Villa's coach Jim Henry and was videoed by the Lucozade Sport Team.
